Liberty Kids exists to provide a safe, biblical, and fun context to disciple children toward Christ, in partnership with their parents.
About
Liberty Kids is available for children 6 months old through 5th grade. These classes are offered during both worship services at 9am and 10:45am. In all that we do, we desire to be joyful in Jesus, kind, and trustworthy as we come alongside parents to help disciple children to know and love Jesus.
Safety
Safety is our number one priority when it comes to caring for your child. For that reason we are part of a program called MinistrySafe. MinistrySafe was created by legal professionals who are sexual abuse experts. Our volunteers go through an extensive process prior to serving in Liberty Kids because we desire to be trustworthy and kind to every child entrusted to our care. Curriculum
Liberty Kids uses The Gospel Story Curriculum and SWORD Bible Memory Cards, developed by Marty Machowski. The lesson each week aims to be biblical, fun, and joyful in Jesus! Each class and age group will learn the same Bible story, although the lessons and activities will differ by age. When your children leave Liberty Kids, your whole family will be able to talk about the same stories each week and memorize the same Bible verse(s) each month.
Younger children may stay in Liberty Kids for both hours if you would like to participate in worship and in an adult Equipping Group! We do repeat the content both hours, so we encourage any child who will become bored by repeated activities to attend worship with you during either the 9am or 10:45am service. We provide Kids’ Worship Kits in the lobby to help our kids engage with the songs and sermon as they learn to participate in corporate worship.
Location
In order to keep our little ones safe, all children must be checked in by their parent or guardian. Check-in stations are located upstairs just inside the Liberty Kids Entrance. Parents will walk their children to their classroom in the Liberty Kids wing and be able to visit with their child’s teachers before leaving their children in our care.
