Alyssa serves as the Director of Liberty Kids for Liberty Baptist Church, coordinating the Liberty Kids children’s classes, organizing and training volunteers, and coordinating special children’s events. She enjoys serving the families and little ones of LBC by helping them make gospel connections and by creating a fun, fresh, safe space for our kids to enjoy!

Alyssa was born and raised in the Kansas City area. Her parents and local church shared the gospel with her regularly when she was young, and Jesus used their faithfulness to save her around the age of 8. Alyssa graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and served with children’s ministry for several years while part of a church plant in Wichita, KS. She is married to Joseph, and they have two children, Rose and Theo. In addition to spending time with her family, Alyssa enjoys reading fiction, doing anything outside, and window shopping for sneakers when time allows!
