B Month Serving
November is a B month! If you are scheduled to serve during B months, remember to connect with your team to coordinate your serving responsibilities. Thank you for serving our church family!
Operation Christmas Child Shoebox
The Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection begins this Sunday, November 2nd. You can pick up a shoebox in the Book Room downstairs and fill it with school supplies, quality toys, and a "wow" item such as a doll, stuffed animal, or inflatable soccer ball. You can also use any regular sized shoebox, whether cardboard or plastic. Bring back the box and place it in the bookroom by November 16th. You can also donate a shoebox online at the website below.
If you would like to help, but not fill an entire shoebox, you can donate individual items and place them in the Christmas box in the Book Room. You can reach out to Charlotte Bradley if you have any questions or comments.
For more information about the mission of Operation Christmas Child, you can visit the website below.
New Song This Sunday
We will be singing a new song this Sunday, entitled, “Your Will Be Done.” Written about five years ago, this newer hymn reflects on Jesus's perfect submission to the Father's will, while consequently calling the church to walk as Jesus walked, trusting in God’s sovereign will for our own lives. If you haven’t added LBC’s Song Library playlist to your personal library, you can add it here, which includes this new song!
Equipping Classes
Please consider joining us in one of these classes as we study God’s Word together:
Theology & Doctrine: Systematic Theology | Fellowship Hall
For many men and women (even Christian men and women), the idea of studying theology may feel intimidating. (What's with all the Latin?) For others, they might be tempted to think of theology as irrelevant. (How does this help me follow Jesus or love my neighbor?) When we study theology well, however, it is anything but cold, dry, and impractical. We study the things of God not to argue about abstract ideas but to know him deeply, personally, and truly. Our gracious God has revealed himself to us through his Word, and it is our joyful duty to listen when he speaks. Join us, as we look at key doctrines throughout Scripture and learn together how sound theology leads to practical, Christian living.
Practical Discipleship: Living as a Church | Equipping Room A
In Ephesians 3, the apostle Paul makes the staggering assertion that the means by which God has chosen to display his manifold wisdom throughout the world and even to the rulers and authorities in the heavens is the church. It’s local churches across the globe and throughout time. It’s the members of LBC! How does this work? What does this look like? Join us, as we consider what Scripture has to say about walking in a manner worthy of this high calling, and looking at practical ways (gathering, praying, serving, evangelizing) that Liberty Baptist Church seeks to live together in this way.
Liberty Students (6th-12th Grade): Overview of Kings & Ecclesiastes | Liberty Students Room
We continue our study of the Old Testament. As we trace God’s plan of redemption, students will be led through portions of 1 and 2 Kings, and Ecclesiastes, taught to ask questions and make observations of the text, and guided in learning how God’s Word applies to their lives. Let’s pray for our students as they continue to learn how to study Scripture!
