Equipping Classes

Please consider joining us in one of these classes as we study God’s Word together:

  • Theology & Doctrine: Systematic Theology | Fellowship Hall
For many men and women (even Christian men and women), the idea of studying theology may feel intimidating. (What's with all the Latin?) For others, they might be tempted to think of theology as irrelevant. (How does this help me follow Jesus or love my neighbor?) When we study theology well, however, it is anything but cold, dry, and impractical. We study the things of God not to argue about abstract ideas but to know him deeply, personally, and truly. Our gracious God has revealed himself to us through his Word, and it is our joyful duty to listen when he speaks. Join us, as we look at key doctrines throughout Scripture and learn together how sound theology leads to practical, Christian living.

  • Elective: Exploring Membership | Equipping Room A
In God’s infinite wisdom and kindness, he has not left Christians to simply figure out “church” on their own, but has given us instruction through his Word. Join the pastors as they consider what Scripture has to say about the structure of the church, the importance of church membership, and how all of this serves to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If you know someone who would like to participate, please direct them to lbcliberty.org/exploringmembership or register using this form. Members are also welcome to join, meet prospective members, and review what the Bible has to say about God’s design for the local church!

  • Liberty Students (6th-12th Grade): Overview of Samuel | Liberty Students Room
We continue our study of the Old Testament. As we trace God’s plan of redemption, students will be led through portions of 1 and 2 Samuel, taught to ask questions and make observations of the text, and guided in learning how God’s Word applies to their lives. Let’s pray for our students as they continue to learn how to study Scripture!
