Bible Reading in 2025
Read Scripture with us in 2025 by using this Bible Reading Plan. Each day includes four sections from across Scripture offering flexibility and variety throughout the year. For example, if you're new to the daily habit of Bible reading, you could start with working through the Gospels this year. Hard copies of the reading plan will be available on Sundays over the next few weeks. This free audiobook from Crossway might also be a helpful encouragement as you prepare to join us. We're praying this additional layer of biblical reverberation throughout our church family roots us deeper in Christ and bears spiritual fruit to the glory of God!
Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
Join us at 5pm on December 24th to celebrate Jesus’ coming to earth to rescue us! This will be a family-oriented service with an early start time so that families can enjoy their Christmas traditions together in the remainder of the evening. We’ll sing Christmas carols, hear a short devotion from Pastor Tyler, and will end by worshipping Jesus with signing by candlelight.
Combined Worship Gathering at LBC Building on December 29th at 10:45am
Due to expected lower attendance, we anticipate being able to gather in one service at our LBC building instead of Manor Hill Elementary for the month of December. We encourage you to join an equipping group and have your children join Liberty Kids’ classes from 9-10am. Note: Our children will join us during the worship gathering as Liberty Kids will not be offered. This will mimic how we conduct our Manor Hill Elementary service.
Church Office Closed Dec 23-Jan 1
The staff will be off and the church office will be closed from Dec 23-Jan 1. If there is an emergency or urgent need during those days, please reach out to deacons@lbcliberty.org or pastors@lbcliberty.org. Thank you for supporting your staff with a week off!
Discover LBC for Guests on January 5th after Second Service
We are offering a short gathering time for guests who are interested in Membership, learning more about LBC, and meeting the elders after the second service on January 5th. It answers the question, “I’m interested in joining LBC, but now what?” Light snacks and drinks will be provided. This will be offered three times in the year, positioned in-between membership cycles in order to offer care and connection to our guests who desire to join LBC. Please share this event with guests you may have met in past weeks!
Lottie Moon Christmas Offering Goal
The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, which funds thousands of Southern Baptist missionaries through the International Mission Board (IMB), will be collected throughout the month of December. Our goal this year is to give $40,000! If you are looking for ways to contribute to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, check out the coming events below. Remember that you can give your donations online! Just be sure to designate the funds to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.
Lottie Moon Bake Sale
The RAs and GAs invite the church family to come get a tasty treat between services on December 15th and the 22nd in the book room for any amount! All donations are accepted and there will be a QR code in the bookroom that you can scan with your smart phone to donate online. All donations will go towards the church’s Lottie Moon Christmas offering goal.
