brandon serves Liberty Baptist Church as a Lay Pastor

At some point before college, Brandon repented of his sins and turned to Christ as Savior and Lord. Brandon came to realize that the Bible was inspired by God and spoke truthfully and authoritatively about everything. In reading the Bible and listening to the Bible preached, Brandon became convinced that Jesus is God’s eternal Son and that only through him is there forgiveness of sins and eternal life with God. Since his conversion, Brandon has learned that God was the gracious cause of his salvation, and he has sought opportunities to minister in the church.

Brandon joined LBC in July 2016 and became a Lay Pastor in July 2018. He serves the church by preaching, administrating, spending time with Pastoral Residents, and shepherding members. He ministers toward the goal that all members would be presented “mature in Christ” (Col 1:28) and endure to the end (1 Cor 15; Heb 3).

Outside of his ministry in the church, Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife, Kaylee, and his daughters—Hensley and Susie. He works at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he manages special projects and is pursuing a PhD in Systematic Theology. In his free time, he enjoys sports, good books, and food.
